ABSTRACT

This research aims to explore the multi-focus group method as an effective tool for systematically eliciting business requirements for business information system (BIS) projects. During the COVID-19 crisis, many businesses plan to transform their businesses into digital businesses. Business managers face a critical challenge: they do not know much about detailed system requirements and what they want for digital transformation requirements. Among many approaches used for understanding business requirements, the focus group method has been used to help elicit BIS needs over the past 30 years. However, most focus group studies about research practices mainly focus on a particular disciplinary field, such as social, biomedical, and health research. Limited research reported using the multi-focus group method to elicit business system requirements. There is a need to fill this research gap. A case study is conducted to verify that the multi-focus group method might effectively explore detailed system requirements to cover the Case Study business's needs from transforming the existing systems into a visual warning system. The research outcomes verify that the multi-focus group method might effectively explore the detailed system requirements to cover the business's needs. This research identifies that the multi-focus group method is especially suitable for investigating less well-studied, no previous evidence, or unstudied research topics. As a result, an innovative visual warning system was successfully deployed based on the multi-focus studies for user acceptance testing in the Case Study mine in Feb 2022. The main contribution is that this research verifies the multi-focus group method might be an effective tool for systematically eliciting business requirements. Another contribution is to develop a flowchart for adding to Systems Analysis & Design course in information system education, which may guide BIS students step by step on using the multi-focus group method to explore business system requirements in practice.

ABSTRACT

In recent years, the import of aquatic products at Zhanjiang port has continued to increase, which has effectively promoted the development of the local economy. However, unqualified imported aquatic products have occurred from time to time, and it has always been an important duty of the customs to control the safety of imported food. Especially with the continuous outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic situation since 2020, it is particularly important to ensure the quality and safety of imported aquatic products, especially the traceability of the products. This article focused on analyzing the characteristics and functions of blockchain technology, combining with the problems of traceability of imported aquatic products in Zhanjiang, combined blockchain technology with three-dimensional customs supervision, explored the establishment of customs blockchain supervision model, and analyzed and studied the feasibility of the application of blockchain in the traceability of imported aquatic products in Zhanjiang. The traceability supervision system including production enterprises, importers and exporters, third-party institutions, logistics, warehousing, banking, insurance and other stakeholders was constructed. Finally, relevant application exploration schemes were put forward, and it was expected to provide some reference for improving the quality of imported products and perfecting the construction of imported food safety traceability management system.

ABSTRACT

In recent years, the import of aquatic products in China has maintained a rapid development. The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in the world in 2020 has brought a great impact on the import of aquatic products. This paper analyzed the global consumption and trade of aquatic products, studied China's imported products in 2020 from the aspects of import types, trading countries and trade modes, and analyzed that China's imported products had the characteristics of high quality and low price, large market potential, obvious decline in processing trade in the second half of the year affected by the new crown, and from the aspects of blocked transportation, decline in global output under the influence of public opinion, consumers' consumption had decreased, restrictive measures had been taken in some regions, corporate profits had been declining, the advantages of processing trade were no longer available, and the ability to cope with market changes was poor. Finally, we would conduct in-depth research on the reasons for the decline of China's imported aquatic products from the aspects of transmitting responsibility pressure to key national competent departments, strengthening the inspection and quarantine supervision of imported aquatic products strengthen self construction, provided technical support and guarantee, gave full play to the role of industry associations, expanded the import of high-quality aquatic products, promoted the increase of domestic aquaculture production, guided enterprises to explore the domestic market and make up for market vacancies, so as to provide some reference for meeting the people's good life needs and stabilizing market supply.

ABSTRACT

At present, the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has spread rapidly across the world, and the economies of various countries have been largely suspended, and the real economy has been hit hard. Most of the enterprises involved in the import and export aquatic products industry are labor-intensive enterprises, belonging to the real economy, with the role of stabilizing employment and foreign trade. Affected by the epidemic situation, the production end, demand side and logistics end of the industry are facing greater difficulties and challenges. Aquatic industry is an important part of China's agricultural production, but also the pillar industry in western Guangdong, which plays an important role in promoting local economic development. This paper analyzed the impact of the epidemic on China's import and export aquatic products industry, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.

ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: The aim of this study is to explore the possible benefits of traditional Chinese medicine on the pathogenesis of psychological and mental health of COVID-19 survivors. METHODS: A literature search was conducted to confirm the effects of COVID-19 on psychological and mental health of survivors. In addition to this, on the basis of signs and symptoms, TCM were used on treat mental disorder as per suggested clinical and animal experimental data plus relevant records in classical Chinese medicine books written by Zhang Zhongiing during Han Dynasty. A series of treatment plans were prescribed for COVID-19 survivors with psychological and mental disorders. RESULTS: According to previous extensive studies focusing on effects on mental health of survivors, high incidence was observed in severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) survivors. During investigations of mental health of COVID-19 patients and survivors, it is observed that they also had symptoms of mental disorders and immune dysfunction. Furthermore, it was also proposed that depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) were most common mental disorders requiring special attention after the recovery from COVID-19. The symptoms of COVID-19 were analyzed, and the TCM syndrome of the depression, anxiety and PTSD after recovered from COVID19 was interpreted as internal heat and Yin deficiency. These three mental disorders pertains the category of "Lily disease", "hysteria" and "deficient dysphoria" in TCM. CONCLUSION: Lily Bulb, Rhizoma Anemarrhena Decoction and Ganmai Dazao Decoction were used to treat depression. Suanzaoren Decoction, Huanglian Ejiao Decoction and Zhizi Chi Decoction were suggested for anxiety. Moreover, Lily Bulb, Rehmannia Decoction and Guilu Erxian Decoction were the formula for PTSD.
